WebMay 3, 2024 · Iona can be done as a day trip from Mull, using the foot ferry from Fionnphort. The island isn't very big and apart from the Abbey, walking and just enjoying the peace, there isn't a lot else to see or do. You don't say if you will have a car. If relying on buses, there will be a limit to what you can do/see. WebThere are also several self-catering houses on the island. Whichever accommodation type suits you best, you would be advised to make your enquiries earlier rather than later, as there can be a high demand, particularly at peak times!
