WebJun 11, 2005 · Actually, the blower doesn't use the resister pack on high, it uses the high blower relay. Unless your truck uses the new all in one module, where the resister pack is built in with the relay, the relay will be mountede near the blower on the firewall. I know in 98 that had switch to the module, but off hand, I don't know how far before that. AC cools via differential pressures, at higher RPM a weak compressor spins fast enough to make enough pressure differential to work somewhat. I'm not sure about the system's pressure.
